Registration for December 2026 is now open
Cost per person for the 4-day/5-night Winter Escape is€ 1 800/person double occupancy, € 1 950 single occupancy.

This includes a 5-night stay at the Hôtel Diderot in Chinon; 1 apéritif dînatoire, 5 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 3 dinners; entry to 4 châteaux, 1 abbey and 1 museum; winery and domain visit, wine tasting at Château du Petit Thouars; a truffle hunt morning at l’Académie de la Truffe; transportation to all visits and activities.
Neither participants’ airfare, trains and/or any transportation to or from Chinon nor insurance are included in the cost.
Should you wish to extend your stay after the day of departure, you are more than welcome, and we will be extending the special daily B & B rate of € 64/person/night double occupancy and € 90/night single occupancy for all participants. Please contact the hotel reception directly by email or phone and arrange for the extra nights’ accommodations as well as direct payment information (email hoteldiderot@hoteldiderot.com for information).
Winter Escape Chinon is limited to 11 participants.

- Once we’ve reached the required number of participants, registrants will be contacted by e-mail and payment in full for the retreat will secure your spot.
- If we do not receive payment by June 1st, your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list.

Cancellation policy
Should you for any reason be unable to attend once you have paid, you will be refunded as follows:
- Cancellations made before August 1st, 2026: 70% of the amount paid will be refunded.
- Cancellations made between August 1st, 2026 and September 1st, 2026: 30% of the amount paid will be refunded.
- Cancellations made on or after September 1st, 2026: no refunds will be issued.
- If the organization is obliged to cancel the event, participants will be fully refunded.
